Oceans at Divi Little Bay is the premium tier within the larger Divi Little Bay Beach Resort on Sint Maarten, occupying a private peninsula with water on two sides. The dual-bay setting gives the property a distinctly Caribbean sense of place — you're surrounded by turquoise water, and the views from the Oceans rooms and the rooftop MIX lounge are legitimately stunning. The Oceans upgrade delivers fresh, renovated rooms with genuine quality touches: robes, upgraded bath products, VIP check-in, and access to exclusive events like the lobster nights and rooftop BBQs.
The practical picture is more mixed. The all-inclusive experience works well within the Oceans tier — handcrafted cocktails, premium liquors and a broader restaurant access list — but the two-tier system creates some friction when Oceans guests and standard Divi guests interact at shared facilities. Reports of rodents near dining areas are a recurring thread in traveler feedback and are worth knowing about. The property is very well-kept otherwise and the water sports program is strong for travelers who want snorkeling, kayaking or diving without booking off-site excursions.
Oceans at Divi Little Bay suits travelers who want a quieter, boutique-style Caribbean all-inclusive rather than a megaplex resort, and who plan to use Sint Maarten's remarkable island access — French-side Marigot, Maho Beach, and some of the best duty-free shopping in the region are all easily reachable by taxi. It's a better fit for couples and returning guests who know what Divi delivers than for first-time all-inclusive travelers expecting large resort amenity sets.

Cons
- −Multiple travelers have reported sighting rodents near room areas and dining spaces — a concern that appears across reviews spanning several years
- −The Oceans tier all-inclusive involves a two-tier system where certain bars and restaurants carry surcharge rules depending on the plan level, which creates confusion
- −Guests report significant walking distances and stairs between the Oceans rooms and the main resort areas — not ideal for guests with mobility limitations
- −Timeshare presentations are actively promoted at check-in and by staff throughout the property, which some guests find disruptive
- −Sint Maarten is a small island and the resort sits in Philipsburg — during cruise ship peak days, the nearby town and beaches become extremely crowded
- −Front desk service has drawn complaints for being less proactive than expected at this price point, with some guests reporting unhelpful responses to issues
- −Dining variety is adequate but not exceptional for a Caribbean all-inclusive — guests on longer stays may want to explore the island's restaurants for evening variety
- −The beach on the Little Bay peninsula is calmer and more enclosed than the open Caribbean beaches some travelers expect, with limited wave activity
