Champagne Reef snorkel trip

Volcanic vents on the sea floor here push up a constant stream of bubbles, and swimming through them is the point. You wade in from Champagne Beach, on the coast south of Roseau, and it is a short swim out to the reef. The coral and fish are ordinary next to Scotts Head further south; the fizz is what makes it.

It sits inside the Soufrière Scotts Head Marine Reserve, so there is a small marine park fee at the entrance.
