Hotel Serendipity Tortuguero is a small, adults-only boutique hotel that has been open since 2022 in the middle of Tortuguero village, on a car-free strip of land between jungle canals and the Caribbean that you reach only by boat or small plane. It has six rooms and calls itself the village's only adults-only property, with a minimum age of 15. The setting is the draw: howler and spider monkeys, sloths, caimans and toucans around the village, and one of the Caribbean's most important green turtle nesting beaches a few minutes' walk away.
