The decision is really about who's coming. If everyone in the party is an adult, Excellence is the more polished, more tranquil product — that's what it's built for. If the trip includes kids (or might), Finest is one of the few luxury options that lets parents enjoy adults-only pools and restaurants while the kids have a full kids club. One trap to know: despite shared ownership, there is no dining reciprocity between the two resorts, so don't book Finest expecting to eat at Excellence.
