Bocawina zipline

Nine lines and 14 platforms carry you through the canopy of Mayflower Bocawina National Park, and the whole course runs about 2.5 miles, one of the longest in Belize. The last line lands a few steps from the lodge's Wild Fig restaurant and bar, so lunch is easy afterwards. A night run can be arranged with a day's notice.

Waterfall rappels are the other draw. The gentler one follows a 45-minute jungle trail to Bocawina Falls and lowers you down its gradual 100 feet into the pool. The hard one climbs to Antelope Falls near the 1,000-foot mark, with a swim at the top and a 250-foot descent in two stages. It opens every day of the year, drop-in day visits are welcome, and transfers run from Hopkins, Dangriga and Placencia.
