It is not for anyone who needs the polish of Secrets Moxche or Maroma, a nightlife scene, or a nonstop flight from most of the United States; Canadians have direct WestJet and Air Canada service from five cities as of the 2026 winter season, while US travellers usually connect through Mexico City. Dreams Huatulco, a 5-minute drive away in Tangolunda, is the family alternative, and La Crucecita town is 15 minutes away for Oaxacan food off the resort.
