Waves Resort & Spa is a 70-room wellness-leaning all-inclusive at Prospect Bay in St. James, on Barbados' calm west coast. The former Waves Hotel & Spa by Elegant Hotels was one of three Barbados properties Marriott announced in March 2024 would join its Autograph Collection after room, restaurant and public-area upgrades, and it now belongs to Marriott's seven-hotel Barbados Collection, whose last conversion, Tamarind, reopened in September 2026. What earns Waves its reputation is the staff: guests describe a team that checks in on you and remembers how you take your coffee.
