Água Show Park

About 70,000 square metres of pools and slides in Ingleses, at the north end of Santa Catarina Island: ten pools and thirty slides grouped into sixteen attractions, plus a heated pool. The wave pool is the main draw, with several kinds of wave and a deepest point of 1.6 metres, so keep an eye on small children in the deep end when the waves are running. The lazy river has a pirate theme, a pool a metre deep and rings to sit or lie on. At the other end of the scale, the Kamikaze do Crocodilo is a pair of 8-metre drop slides ridden lying down with arms crossed, closed to anyone under 1.30 m, pregnant or with a heart condition. Children under a metre tall are limited to the rides for their size.

The season starts in spring on selected days, mostly Fridays to Sundays, and the park opens daily in high summer, so check the calendar when booking. Tickets bought online are cheaper than at the gate. Outside food, drink and pets are not allowed; there are restaurants, snack bars, lockers and paid parking.
