Cumbuco dunes buggy ride

Cumbuco is known worldwide for kitesurfing, and its buggy ride heads west along the coast towards the port of Pecém. On the dunes you choose fast and steep or gentle, and the ride stops to swim in the fresh water of the Lagoa do Cauípe, where kitesurfers practise on the flat water. Up in the sand there are usually a zip line and a makeshift water slide. The whole loop takes about two hours. A buggy with a driver carries three or four people, and prices are worth negotiating. Self-drive buggies are for rent too, but they are not allowed on the dunes.
