Deep-sea fishing charter

North of the islands the seabed drops away into deep water along the North Drop, and that is where sportfishing charters from Tortola head for blue-water fish: marlin, sailfish, wahoo and tuna. The same deep water north of Anegada is where the lobster and fish that Anegada's fishermen sell to the rest of the BVI come from. For a quieter day, the miles of shallow flats along Anegada's south shore are fished on the fly for bonefish, and now and then tarpon.
