Îlet Chevalier boat trip
Day trip · Sainte-Anne, Martinique
Just a few minutes by boat from Cap Chevalier, on the Atlantic side of the Sainte-Anne peninsula, this small former volcano sits behind a coral reef that keeps the water calm. A footpath loops the islet through cactus and dry scrub. Boats run across from the Anse Michel side, where kite and windsurfers work the bay, and at weekends the crowd is mostly Martinican families. Do not confuse it with the bird islets farther south, where landing is banned.
