Day-to-day the resort delivers solid all-inclusive basics: clean rooms, daily stocked minibars, waterslides, and entertainment programming that works for families with kids of any age - and a November 2025 expansion raised the ceiling considerably. The formerly Indigo oceanfront building reopened as the Club & Villas section with 70 beachfront suites and 10 two-story villas (some swim-out), served by an exclusive rooftop pool and sushi restaurant, while the rest of the property gained a brand-new water park, a new gym by the main pool, and a new indoor/outdoor wedding venue. The trade-off: phased construction was still ongoing into 2026, so parts of the resort can feel like a work in progress. The pool scene gets crowded - travelers consistently warn to grab chairs early - and the surrounding common areas don't have enough A/C for the heat. Food earns 'decent' marks rather than 'exceptional,' which is typical for Dreams-tier versus the Secrets premium line.

This is the resort for families who want a genuine beach (not a hotel-zone concrete strip), want flexibility to explore multiple resorts in one trip, and don't need a party atmosphere.
