Cows, pigs, ostriches, dogs, horses and silkworms each get a station of their own in this farm park outside Quimbaya, ten in all, with more than 4,500 domestic animals. You walk the loop at your own pace and catch live shows as they come round: hand-milking in the cattle station, a pig race in the cerdódromo, a dog show of trained breeds and an exhibition of horses from around the world.

The thrill rides cost extra and are sold for weekend and holiday visits. The Canopea zip line runs about 2 km, more than 100 metres above the coffee hills, and takes 25 minutes. There are also suspension bridges 30 metres up and a short cable ride between the dog and horse stations. The zip line takes riders from age 10, all three have height or weight limits, and everything at height stops in rain. Small children can ride real ponies on a carousel instead.

Travesía, the evening horse show, puts more than 60 horses and 38 performers on stage for about an hour three nights a week, with its own ticket or a two-day pass. The park closes on Wednesdays. Buying online beats the ticket office.
