Snorkelling trip in Sosúa Bay

Sosúa's own beach has a reef about 100 metres out, close enough to swim to with gear rented on the sand. The guided trips take it further: a couple of hours with a guide, a stop on the reef in the bay and another at Three Rocks, where tall rocks rise from the bottom with fish crowded around them. Moray eels, barracuda and turtles show up. The water is shallow in much of the bay, and one of the dive shops sits right at the beach entrance. Some guides take photos and video of you in the water.
