Dreams Puerto Morelos is a family-first resort that has changed names twice: it opened as Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun, became Hyatt Ziva Riviera Maya, and has traded as Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort & Spa since 13 November 2025. Hyatt honoured existing Ziva bookings and room categories through the switch, and the pools, spa and family facilities carried over unchanged. Is there a good beach for swimming?

Not really. The resort fronts the sea at Bahia Petempich, but guests consistently report there is no swimmable beach.
