Catamaran snorkel and sunset cruise

Catamarans for these trips tie up at Port Lucaya, by the shops and restaurants of the Marketplace, and sail out to the reefs off the Lucayan shore. The usual sail-and-snorkel runs about two and a half hours, once in the morning and again after lunch. Snorkel gear is handed out on board, and the stop is a reef where ten or more kinds of fish are a normal count. Small children can come along.

Sailing-only trips skip the snorkelling, and the wine and cheese cruise is the gentle evening option. A few bigger motor catamarans run a five-hour party version instead, with music through the canals of Lucaya, a snorkel stop, a beach, a cooked lunch and an open bar. Choose the sailing boat if you want it quiet. Everything runs only when the weather allows.
