Baha Bay Water Park

On Cable Beach, next to the Baha Mar hotels, Baha Bay packs its rides into 15 acres on the sand. Its showpiece is the Dueling Riptide Coaster, a water coaster that runs uphill as well as down, and The Surf, a FlowCurl wave machine you can ride without lessons. There is also a 500,000-gallon wave pool that you wade into from the beach, a lazy river through planted gardens, a freefall slide, raft rides that spin round huge bowls, and Kids Island, with small slides, a tipping bucket and shallow pools.

Baha Mar's own guests walk in. For anyone staying elsewhere on Cable Beach, a limited number of day tickets go on sale online, priced by height (48 inches and over, or under), with under-threes free, and only so many are sold each day. A ticket covers the park and the beach beside it, not the rest of the resort. The park is cashless, outside food and glass are not allowed, and every non-resort guest signs a waiver. Towels and lockers are rented on site, and you can leave and come back the same day. Hours are 10am to 5pm.
