Hoyo Azul

Hoyo Azul is a vivid blue, spring-fed pool about 14 metres deep at the foot of a 75-metre limestone cliff draped in plants, and it sits inside Scape Park, so you need a park ticket to see it.

Getting there is a 750-metre walk of around 15 minutes through forest, over a hanging bridge and past small cascades and an orchid garden. The path is uneven and no good for anyone with limited mobility, so wear shoes that grip. Go in by the steps or off the jump platform. No food or drink at the water.
