Sunset cruise from Rodney Bay

Two hours on a catamaran out of Rodney Bay, leaving around five in the afternoon so the sun goes down while you are on the water. There are no stops and nothing to organise: the boat potters along the calm north-west coast while the crew pour rum punch and hand round snacks to a mix of local and international music.

On a hot, still evening with a clear sea horizon, watch the last second of the sunset for the green flash, a brief green spark just as the sun disappears. Most nights you will not see it. For more time on the water, some boats run a longer afternoon trip down to the Pitons and watch the sunset there.
