Treetop Adventure Park

On the Atlantic side of the island, in rainforest inland from the east-coast town of Dennery, this was the first zip-line park in St Lucia. The course has 12 lines and 5 net bridges, about 5,100 feet of cable in all; the longest line runs 800 feet and the highest platform stands 150 feet up. The park bills them as the island's longest, highest and fastest.

The zip lines themselves take about an hour and a half, but the whole outing runs to around four hours, and fruit and fresh juice are served at the park. The same park runs rainforest hikes and mountain-bike rides to a waterfall, and a full day can pair one of those with the zip line. Riders need to be at least 50 inches tall and under 250 pounds, and closed-toe shoes are required.
