It sits at the foot of the 7 km El Medano stretch on Camino Viejo a San Jose, 4.5 km from town, with 1,288 rooms across five floors, 24-hour all-inclusive service and the two attractions the whole Riu cluster in Cabo shares: Splash Water World and RIU Pool Party. Both of those are physically here, which is worth understanding before you book. Riu's page for the adults-only Palace Baja California tells its own guests to come to Santa Fe for the water park and the parties, and Santa Fe's page offers nothing in the other direction. A guest writing on the Palace page in 2026 adds that specialty dining outside your own resort is no longer permitted and that the old tier system has gone, so the old advice about staying cheap at Santa Fe and eating at the Palace is out of date.
