A Hilton franchise agreement signed in October 2024 is meant to turn it into The Sens Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Tapestry by Hilton, with Oasis staying on as owner and operator. Hilton has repeatedly pointed to a 2026 opening, but as of October 2026 Oasis still sells the hotel with no Hilton branding, no adults-only policy and no construction notice. For now it remains a mixed resort with separate family and adults-only areas, which explains the long-standing confusion about whether kids are allowed (they are).
