Melia Caribe Beach Resort is the family half of what used to be Melia Caribe Tropical, a 1,145 room complex that Melia split into two hotels in late 2018 and renovated in the process. At 768 rooms spread low-rise across two floors through gardens, it feels like a small town rather than a tower, and Punta Cana airport is only about 19 km away.
