Delphinus Riviera Maya

This is Delphinus's own dolphin habitat on the highway just south of Playa del Carmen, beside the Occidental at Xcaret and a few minutes from Xcaret park. It is a separate site from the Delphinus programmes inside Xcaret and Xel-Há, so you come here only for the dolphins, not a park day.

The programmes differ by time in the water and group size: the longest gives four people 45 minutes and the full set of activities, a shorter one puts six in for half an hour, and the gentlest, 20 minutes in groups of ten, suits small children and older swimmers. There is also a two-hour trainer programme. Children under eight swim with a paying adult. Allow three to four hours. Lockers, showers and a photo shop are on site, and hotel transport is sold separately.
